ਦੂਤਨ ਸੰਗਰੀਆ ॥
To associate with your arch enemies,
दूतन संगरीआ ॥
ਭੁਇਅੰਗਨਿ ਬਸਰੀਆ ॥
Is to live with poisonous snakes;
भुइअंगनि बसरीआ ॥
ਅਨਿਕ ਉਪਰੀਆ ॥੧॥
I have made the effort to shake them off. ||1||
