Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਰੂਪ ਕੋ ਧਰਾ ॥

ता ते सूरज रूप को धरा ॥

ਜਾ ਤੇ ਬੰਸ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ਰਵਿ ਕਰਾ ॥

From that (Aditi), the sun was born, from whom Suraj Vansh (the Sun dynasty) originated.

जा ते बंस प्रचुर रवि करा ॥

ਜੌ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਨਾਊ ॥

जो तिन के कहि नाम सुनाऊ ॥

ਕਥਾ ਬਢਨ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਡਰਾਊ ॥੧੯॥
