Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse
ਲੰਕੇਸ ਕੇ ਉਰ ਮੋ ਤਕ ਬਾਨ ॥
लंकेस के उर मो तकि बान ॥
ਮਾਰਯੋ ਰਾਮ ਸਿਸਤ ਜਿ ਕਾਨ ॥
The sons of Ram pulling their bows shot an arrow in the heart of the king of Lanka
मारियो राम सिसत तजि कान ॥
ਤਬ ਗਿਰਯੋ ਦਾਨਵ ਸੁ ਭੂਮਿ ਮੱਧ ॥
तब गिरियो दानव सु भूमि म्ध ॥
ਤਿਹ ਬਿਸੁਧ ਜਾਣ ਨਹੀ ਕੀਯੋ ਬੱਧ ॥੭੮੫॥
That demon fell down on the earth and considering him unconscious, the boys did not kill him.785.
तिह बिसुध जाण नही कीयो ब्ध ॥७८५॥
