Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse
ਗਿਰੇ ਝੂਮ ਭੂਮੰ ਅਘੂਮੇਤਿ ਘਾਯੰ ॥
गिरे झूमि भूमं अघूमेति घायं ॥
ਉਠੇ ਗੱਦ ਸੱਦੰ ਚੜੇ ਚਉਪ ਚਾਯੰ ॥
The wounded groups of warriors are swinging and being bewildered on falling on the earth and with double zeal they are getting up and striking with their maces.
उठे ग्द स्दं चड़े चउप चायं ॥
ਜੁਝੈ ਬੀਰ ਏਕੰ ਅਨੇਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੰ ॥
जुझे बीर एकं अनेकं प्रकारं ॥
ਕਟੇ ਅੰਗ ਜੰਗੰ ਰਟੈਂ ਮਾਰ ਮਾਰੰ ॥੪੦੭॥
The warriors have begun the war in many way, the chopped limbs are falling, even then the warriors are shouting “Kill, Kill”.407.
