Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse
ਬੇਦ ਧੁਨਿ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਸਭੈ ਦਿਜ ਕੀਅਸ ਜੱਗ ਅਰੰਭ ॥
बेद धुनि करि कै सभै दिज कीअस ज्ग अरमभ ॥
ਭਾਂਤਿ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਹੋਮਤ ਰਿੱਤ ਜਾਨ ਅਸੰਭ ॥
All the Brahmins started the Yajna by reciting the Vedic performed the havan (fire-worship) in accordance with the mantras.
भांति भांति बुलाइ होमत रितजान अस्मभ ॥
ਅਧਿਕ ਮੁਨਿਬਰ ਜਉ ਕੀਯੋ ਬਿਧ ਪੂਰਬ ਹੋਮ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
अधिक मुनिबर जउ कीयो बिधि पूरब होम बनाइ ॥
ਜਗ ਕੁੰਡਹੁ ਤੇ ਉਠੇ ਤਬ ਜਗ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਕੁਲਾਇ ॥੫੦॥
When many sages and hermits performed the havan in appropriate manner, then from the sacrificial pit arose the agitated sacrificial purushas.50.
जग कुंडहु ते उठे तब जग पुरख अकुलाइ ॥५०॥
