Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse

ਧਰਿਯੋ ਖਸਟਮੰ ਬਿਸਨ ਐਸਾਵਤਾਰੰ ॥

In this way, the sixth partial incarnation of the Visnu manifested himself,

धरयो खसटमं बिसन ऐसावतारं ॥

ਸਬੈ ਦੁਸਟ ਜਿਤੈ ਕੀਯੋ ਬੇਦ ਉਧਾਰੰ ॥

Who destroyed the enemies and protected the Vedas

सभै दुसट जिते कीयो बेद उधारं ॥

ਥਟਿਯੋ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜੰ ਜਿਤੇ ਦੇਵ ਸਰਬੰ ॥

There was the victory of Dharma (righteousness) and the gods collectively were Victorious,

थटियो धरमराजं जिते देव सरबं ॥

ਉਤਾਰਿਯੋ ਭਲੀ ਭਾਤ ਸੋ ਤਾਹਿ ਗਰਬੰ ॥੧੪॥

And they caused to remove the pride of all in a right way.14.

उतारियो भलीभांत सों ताहि गरबं ॥१४॥
