Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse
ਕੁਲੰ ਕੋਟ ਹੋਮੈ ਬਿਖੈ ਵਹਿਣ ਕੁੰਡੰ ॥
Millions of serpents of his clan were burnt in the fire-altar.
कुलं कोट होमे बिखै वहिण कुंडं ॥
ਬਚੇ ਬਾਧ ਡਾਰੇ ਘਨੇ ਕੁੰਡ ਝੁੰਡੰ ॥
Those who were saved, were bound down and collectively thrown in the fire-pit.
बचे बाध डारे घने कुंड झुंडं ॥
ਭਜ੍ਯੋ ਨਾਗ ਰਾਜੰ ਤਕ੍ਯੋ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਲੋਕੰ ॥

भजयो नाग राजं तकयो इंद्र लोकं ॥
ਜਰ੍ਯੋ ਬੈਦ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੰ ਭਰ੍ਯੋ ਸਕ੍ਰ ਸੋਕੰ ॥੬॥੧੭੪॥
