Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse

ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਲਗੇ ਜਿਤੇ ਸਬ ਫੂਲ ਮਾਲ ਹੁਐ ਗਏ ॥

All the blows of weapons and arms, which struck the goddess, they appeared as garlands of flowers around her neck.

ससत्र असत्र लगे जिते सभ फूल माल हुऐ गए ॥

ਕੋਪ ਓਪ ਬਿਲੋਕਿ ਅਤਿਭੁਤ ਦਾਨਵੰ ਬਿਸਮੈ ਭਏ ॥

Seeing this all the demons were filled with anger and astonishment.

कोप ओप बिलोकि अदिभुत दानवं बिसमै भए ॥

ਦਉਰ ਦਉਰ ਅਨੇਕ ਆਯੁਧ ਫੇਰਿ ਫੇਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਹੀ ॥

Many of them, running ahead repeatedly strike blows with their weapons.

दउर दउर अनेक आयुध फेरि फेरि प्रहार हीं ॥

ਜੂਝਿ ਜੂਝਿ ਗਿਰੈ ਅਰੇਕ ਸੁ ਮਾਰ ਮਾਰ ਪੁਕਾਰਹੀ ॥੫॥੬੯॥

And with shouts of “kill, kill”, they are fighting and falling down.5.69.

जूझि जूझि गिरे अरेक सु मार मार पुकार हीं ॥५॥६९॥
