Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse
ਸ੍ਰੋਣਤ ਬਿੰਦ ਕੋ ਸੁੰਭ ਨਿਸੁੰਭ ਕਹਿਓ ਤੁਮ ਜਾਹੁ ਮਹਾ ਦਲੁ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
Sumbh and Nisumbh said, “Now go and take with you a huge army,
स्रौणत बिंद को सु्मभ निसु्मभ कहिओ तुम जाहु महां दलु लै कै ॥
ਛਾਰ ਕਰੋ ਗਰੂਏ ਗਿਰ ਰਾਜਹਿ ਚੰਡਿ ਪਚਾਰਿ ਹਨੋ ਬਲੁ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥
“Reduce the great mountain of the goddess to dust and with all your strength challenge and kill her.”,
छार करो गरूए गिर राजहि चंडि पचारि हनो बलु कै कै ॥
ਕਾਨਨ ਮੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੀ ਸੁਨੀ ਬਾਤ ਰਿਸਾਤ ਚਲਿਓ ਚੜਿ ਉਪਰ ਗੈ ਕੈ ॥
Hearing the words of the king with own ears, Raktabvija riding on his elephant and in great fury, marched away.,
कानन मै न्रिप की सुनि बात रिसात चलिओ चड़ि्ह उपरि गै कै ॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਪ੍ਰਤਛ ਹੋਇ ਅੰਤਿਕ ਦੰਤਿ ਕੋ ਲੈ ਕੈ ਚਲਿਓ ਰਨਿ ਹੇਤ ਜੁ ਛੈ ਕੈ ॥੧੨੬॥
It seemed that the Yama, manifesting himself is taking the demon to his destruction by fighting in the battlefield.126.,
मानो प्रत्छ होइ अंतिक दंति को लै कै चलिओ रनि हेत जु छै कै ॥१२६॥
