Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse
ਸੁਨਿ ਰਾਕਸ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਕੋ ਦੇਵੀ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੀਨ ॥
Hearing the words of the demon, the goddess replied thus:,
सुनि राकस की बात को देवी उतर दीन ॥
ਜੁਧ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਹਿ ਬਰੋ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਦੈਤ ਮਤਹੀਨ ॥੮੪॥
“O foolish demon, I cannot marry him without waging the war.”84.,
जुध करै बिन नहि बरों सुनहु दैत मत हीन ॥८४॥
