Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Verse

ਉਠਿ ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ਕਰ ਜੋਰ ਕੈ ਕਹੀ ਚੰਡ ਸੋ ਬਾਤ ॥

When he came to his senses, that demon, pulling himself up, said to the goddess,

उठि स्मभार करि जोर कै कही चंड सो बात ॥

ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੁੰਭ ਕੋ ਭਾਤ ਹੌ ਕਹ੍ਯੋ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਕਚਾਤ ॥੮੨॥

“I am the brother of king Sumbh,” then the added with some hesitation,82

न्रिपति सु्मभ को भ्रात हौं कहिओ बचन सुकचात ॥८२॥
